Nusr-Et Steakhouse, the restaurant group founded by culinary icon Nusret Gökçe, is embarking on a significant global expansion, with several new locations set to open worldwide.

The brand recently inaugurated a new restaurant in Istanbul’s Aqua Florya and is poised to launch additional establishments in Cappadocia, Milan, Mexico City, Ibiza and Rome.

This strategy aligns with the company’s commitment to evolve its presence in response to guest demand and regional opportunities.

In January 2025, Nusr-Et Steakhouse unveiled its latest global expansion plans, including Mexico City for a new opening in 2025.

The Milan opening is projected for the third or fourth quarter of 2025, and the Mexico City St Regis hotel opening for the fourth quarter of 2025 or the first quarter of 2026.

Further growth will follow with Rome and Ibiza in 2026.

Nusr-Et Board Member Akın Tavuz stated: “We’re excited to bring Nusr-Et to these incredible cities, each with its own culinary identity and vibrant dining scene.”

“Our growth is focused on markets that align with our vision for excellence, energy and global brand recognition.”

In line with its international growth focus, Nusr-Et will be closing its Beverly Hills location in the US state of California. The Beverly Hills restaurant has been a significant part of the brand’s US portfolio and its closure, which follows closures in Dallas and Las Vegas, reflects a strategic realignment towards international markets.

Nusr-Et will maintain its operations in Miami and New York as the company refines its global investment strategy.

The recent and upcoming openings mark Nusr-Et’s growth trajectory from an 8-table steakhouse in Istanbul to a global chain with 25 locations.
