HungerRush, a provider of integrated restaurant technology solutions, has announced the Grubhub Marketplace integration for the HungerRush POS system.

The move enables restaurants to receive and manage Grubhub orders directly through their HungerRush POS platform, in addition to current integrations with DoorDash and Uber Eats.

Restaurant operators previously had to manage Grubhub orders through third-party, tablet-based solutions or aggregator services.

The new integration by HungerRush eliminates the need for additional devices and services, simplifying the order management process. This direct integration with major delivery platforms is expected to save time, reduce costs and lessen employee frustration by avoiding the need to juggle multiple systems.

Franchise owner of Flippin’ Pizza, James Ryan, expressed his enthusiasm for the new feature, stating: “The new Grubhub POS integration is a game-changer for us. Having all our marketplace orders come through one POS system, including Grubhub, has simplified our processes and improved order accuracy. The integration has helped us streamline our operations, eliminate third-party services and reduce complexity — allowing us to focus more on what matters: serving our customers.”

The HungerRush Grubhub integration offers several key benefits: improving efficiency as staff can concentrate on customer service rather than managing disparate systems, providing real-time menu management and ensuring accurate inventory and menu availability across all platforms, thereby reducing order errors.

Commenting on the integration, HungerRush chief product officer Eran Hollander stated: “By integrating Grubhub into our POS system, we are providing operators and owners with a powerful tool to centralise ordering and consolidate technology clutter, while focusing on improving the guest experience. Our mission has always been to focus on improving operational woes for restaurant owners and providing a superior guest experience. Through this integration, we can continue focusing on that mission.”
